Footwear care

Practical care and cleaning tips to preserve the quality, texture, and appearance of your Reefs for longer, adapted to each type of material.

Reef Care Tips

A little care goes a long way in keeping your sandals looking good and feeling comfortable.

Keep Them Cool
Your Reefs are made for the sun, not extreme heat. Materials like cork footbeds and EVA outsoles can be damaged by high temperatures, so try not to leave them exposed to direct sunlight for too long. Also, keep them away from heat sources like campfires or fireplaces.

Be Careful with Water
Some of our styles are water-friendly, but most are not designed to be fully submerged. Too much water can affect the appearance and comfort of your sandals.
If they get wet, let them air dry naturally, but avoid direct heat.

Give Them Space
Avoid stacking your sandals on top of each other. This can cause them to lose their shape or wear out faster.

For light stains, use a cloth lightly dampened with a little clear neutral soap and gently clean the area, avoiding excessive rubbing.
